Begin your day exploring Agartala city. Visit the magnificent Ujjayanta Palace, once the royal residence of the Tripura kings, built by Maharaja Radha Krishna Manikya. Continue to the Jagannath Temple and Umanneshwar Temple. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping and exploring the local markets.

Travel 55 km to Udaipur, a spiritually significant city on the banks of the Gomati River. Explore the ruins of a grand palace built by Maharaja Govinda Manikya around 1660–1675 AD, located near the Bhubaneswari Temple.
Next, visit the revered Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 sacred Shaktipeeths. Then head to Neermahal, a beautiful lake palace situated in the center of Rudrasagar Lake, constructed in 1930 by Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya.
Return to Agartala in the afternoon.

Today, embark on a 5-hour (186 km) drive to Unakoti, a fascinating archaeological site dating back to the 7th–9th centuries. The name “Unakoti” means “one less than a crore” and refers to the numerous rock-cut sculptures and stone carvings in the region.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy an evening walk exploring the historical surroundings.

In the morning, visit the famous Unakoti rock site. Key highlights include the massive central Shiva head, known as ‘Unakotiswara Kal Bhairava’, which stands 30 feet tall with an ornate 10-foot-high headdress. Flanking the central figure are two life-sized female carvings—one of Goddess Durga standing on a lion, and another female figure on the opposite side.
After the visit, drive back to Agartala.
