After breakfast, visit the iconic 17th-century Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse, which offers stunning views of the Tawang Valley at 10,000 ft altitude. Later, visit the Tawang War Memorial, a 40-ft-high stupa-style structure dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Indo-China War, with names of 2,420 soldiers inscribed in gold. Today, after an early breakfast, head out for an excursion to Madhuri Lake and Bumla Pass, located near the Indo-China border at an altitude of 15,200 ft.
